WHEREAS, there 1s now on tile with the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson
County, a unanimous petition signed by the residents of Marrowstone and Indian Isl~~ds,
requesting the oonatruotion of 8 high bridge over and aoross said oanal, and,

NOW, THEREFORE, bo it therefore reaolved that it 1s the sense of the Board of County
Commissioners of Jefferson Oounty, State of Washington, in regular session assembled,
that the County of Jerferson, state of Waahington, construct aoross the canal hereinabove
referred to, a low, plle-driven, wooden bridge struoture for the purpose of answering
the foregoing demandS, and that a oopy of this resolution be transmitted to the Seoretary
