RESOLUTION No. 35
WHEREAS, through erroneous Tax Foreclosure the County of Jefferson acquired by
Tax Deed Lot 6, in Section~6, Township 28 North, Range 2 West, W. M., not exc~pting
the right-of-way of the Port Tovmsend Railroad, and
iVHEREAS, the aforesaid portion of rail road right-of-way was otherwise assessed
and taxed for the years forecloBe~ and the texes thereon wer~pnid, and
\VHEREAS, the Chas. R. McCormi?k ~umber Company of Delaware, a corporation of the
State of Delaware, has since suceeded to the title of the aforesaid portion of right-
of-way, and the afor~said Tax Deed constitutes a cloud upon thoir title, Now, There-
fore, for the purpose of removing the aforosaid clOUd on title, be it
RESOL\~; that the Chairman and Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners of Jef-

ferson CountYJ Washington, are authorized and instructed to execute and delivsr CO the
Chas. R. McCormick Lumber Company of Delaware, a Delaware Corporation, a Quit Claim
Deed to the following described tract or parcel of land, lying and being in said
County of Jefferson, to-wit:
All that portion of the Quilcene Branch of the Port Townsend Southern Railroad
Company right-of-way, being a strip of land 100 feet wide, across Government Lot 6,
Section 26, To\vnship 28 North, Range 2 West,W. M.
Dated this 7th day of October, 1935.
