JEFFERSON COUNTY
On Motion,' duly Seconded, the following Resolutions were ~i1mouBly QPprove~ by
the Board.
RESOLUTION NO. 43
WHEREAS, 1~ is to the best interests of the People of Jefferson County that the
portion of the Bec~ndary Ro~d System of Jefferson County known as the Mats Mats road
be improved under the Seoondary Highway Specifioations, and .
WHEREAS it. is necessary to GurfacG said road, and
WHEREAS the Public Interests of the People of Jefferson County demand the improve-
ment of said highway,
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Mats Mats road, beginning at the Junction of the
Mats Mats and Swansonville road and extending northerly a distance of 4800 feet be im-
proved under the provisions of Chapter 11 of the Laws of 1935.

WHEREAS it is to the best interests of the People of Jefferson County that a por-
tion of the Secondary Highway System of Jefferson County known as the West Valley r~ad
be improved under the Secondary Highway Sepcifications, and
WIffiREAS the improvement as demanded replaces a bridge that wl11 not satisfy the
traffic demands, and
WHEREAS the Public Interests of the People of Jefferson County demand th~ improve-
ment of said highway, and
WHEREAS the project is of a Speoial Maintenanoe nature,
DE IT THEREF'ORE RESOLVED,1;hat that portion of the West Valley Road spanning ,
Chirn~oum C~eek ne improved under the provie1onc of Chaptor 111 of the Laws of 1935.
