WHEREAS the eount1ea of th0 State of washington, 07 virtue of Chapter 106, Session
Laws of 1935, must pay to all blind persons an annual pension of $400.00 under oertain
epee1f1ed requ1r:=~nt= of re=1dsnce a~ a mandat~~ CUl4Aty ~~at1Qn;
WHEREAS the Federal Government under Title X (Public No. 27l--74th Congress) under
certain specified supervision and direction by a state administrative department has
authorized retmbursement for suoh pensions paid up to a maximum of $15 per per son per
month;

WHEREAS the State Department of Publio Weltare i8 willing to serve as the said
state administrative department,.an~ upon receipt of a formal pledge to furniah suoh
monthly reports and other informational data as i. neoessary to oertify to the payment
or pension lUnda will aot for the oounties in obtaining said retmbursement;
