Commissioners' Room in the Oounty Court House at Port Townsend, Waehington, at the hour
ot 10 o'clook, A. Mo

The following Resolution was unanimously adopted by the Board.

WHEREAS dur~ng the c~nstruction of Secondary Road Project NOa 14~ P. W. A. Dockot
Wash. 1160, soli~ rock was encountered, and
WHEREAS the enoountering of solid rock was not anticipated and
WHEREAS a unit prioe for the excavation of solid rock was not included in the severa
bid items under which the contract was awarded, and
vrdEREAS through mutual agreement with the contracto~, Allen and Govan, Ino., a price
of (.75) seventy-five centa per cubic yard for 8011& rock exoavation was agr&dd upon,
