Monday, July 6, 1936
The Honorable Board of County Commissioners met in the Oommiss10ners"Room in the
County Court House at Port Townsend, Washington, on the above named date at the hour
of 10 o'olock, A. M.
Present: MassI's. S. Lockhart, Chairman, Roy L. Nordby and J. R. Oousens.
Minutes of the J'un~; 193$; Segaions. read and approved.
Miss Mary Coolidge of the State Department of Health appeared before the Board
in regard to the employment of a County Nurse.
Mre Sweet appeared before the BOArd and requested that the old oounty road run-
ning through hili property in Section 19, Township 28 Nor~h, Range 1 West, be vaoated.
Referred to County Engineer.
On Motion, duly seconded, Nicholas Prehn, Gardiner; and Chas. polhill, Bangor,
were each granted relief in the sum of $10.00 per month.
On Motion, by Mr. Nordby, Seconded by Mr. Cousens, it was ordered that $500.00

Engineer no timber could be found on this property.
Approval of Secondary Road Project No, 20 (West Valley Road) was received from
the Director of Highways.
Letters from School District No. 43, and the Port Townsend Chamber of Commeroe
received and ordered placed on file.

Motion, duly seconded, unanimously adopted:
FINDINGS AND ORDER. IN THE MATTER OF THE SALE OF CERTAIN COUNTY REAL ESTATE.
Tho matter of the propriety and advisability of the 8ale of the two-thirds interest
in Tax Nos.. :3 and 5, Section 8, To;msh1p 29 Noz>th, Riinge 1 East, W. M., situated in
Jefferson County, Washington, being real estate acquired by the Oounty of Jofferson,
State of Washington, by Deed~ ooming on for hearing this day before tho Board of County
Commissioners for Jefferson County, and the said Board findIn~ that ita Notioe of
intention to make suoh sale has boon given in tha manner llnd for the time required by
la'w; and no taxpayer in the County appearing to objeot to the makIng of suoh Bale, now,
therefore:
