WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners that in order to permit the agricultural and poultry interests .of Jefferson County to fully partioipate in the agrioultural program of the Federal Government, prOVision for the seouring of such add~tional funds should be now n~da, ~nd, . WHEREAS, under the proviSions of Chapter 2, Laws of 1936, Initiative Measure ~o.. 94, State of Washington, Bo~~d8 of COtL~t1 Oommissioners are authorized and empowered to levy taxes at a rate in axoass of ten millS, provided in said act, when author1.zed. so to do by the eleotors of said oounty by speoial election, and, .WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners, for Jefferson country State of Washington, that a speoial oleotion for the purpose of presenting to the electors of said Jefferson County the following propoaition should be held, . BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, under authority embraoed in said Chapter 2, Laws of. the State of Washington, 1935, Initiative Measure No. 94, that a speoial eleotion be held. in the County of Jefferson and in the various voting preoinots on Tuesday, the. 8th day of September, 1936, whioh day and date be, and the same is hereby fixed as. .
