Petition from the Charles R. MoCormick L~ber Company for the vaoation of a
Coun~y Road, aocompanied by a Bond for $100.00, were reoeived and the County Auditor
ordered to advertise the Petition and that the hearing will be held on Wednesday,
November 4, 1936, at 2 o'clock, P. M. Said Road is more partioularly described as
follows. Commencing at a point on the East. and Wes~ oenter line of Seotion 2, Township

Sections 1 and 2, and on approximate nenter, line of said Oounty Road, Running thence in
a Southerly direction for 668 feet, more or: less, and. ending at the junction of said
County Road with State ~ighway NO.9, the whole distance being 668 feet.
On Motion, duly secondea, the claim of Pie roe County Hosp1~al i'or m~d1caL treatment
for Uarry Cllfrord, wmount~ng to $78.25, was rejected.
On Mo~lon, duly seconded, the Board adjourned to meet on Tuesday, Octooer 13, 1~36,
at 10 O'clock, A. M.

The Board reconvened on the above nwmed date at the hour of 10 o'Clock, A. M.,
with all members present.
On Motion, duly seconded, the following Resoluvion was \L~animously adopted:
RESOLUTION NO. 82

VmEREAS Jefferson County is now constructing a Secondary Highway over and across
the North half of Seotion 16, TownShip 28, North, Range 1 West, W. M., and,
WHEREAS application has been nw.cie to the Department of Public Lands :rOl' right of
way for said road, and
WHEREAS the constructed road is a relocation of the present road across said parcel
of ltl.nd, and
WHEREAS that po~tion of the ex1stil~ road will not be used upon completion of said
pro#ect,
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED th&t we the Board of Coun1l{ COlllmissiOllers do hereby abandon
that portion of the exis::iug road aoross said North half of Section 16, Twp. 28 North,
Range 1 West, W. M., such portion of road to be abandoned upon completion of the re-
located ro~d.
