The Honorable Board of County Connniss1onors met in tho Commissioners' Room in the County Court Houso, Port Townsend, on the above nomed date at the hour of 10 o'clock, A. I M. Present: Messrs. S. Lockhart, Chairman, Roy L. Nordby and Jo R. Cousens. Minutes of the February, 19~7, Sessions, read and approved. I Iiiii Letters from M. R. Wood and Ai Walton in referenoe to roads wore referred to the Engineer. Letter from the Direotor of Highways approving plans for Seoondary Road Project No. 23, (Unit No. 1 Day Labor) was ordered placed on file. The County Auditor roported that he had reoeived and recorded the Deed from Dan O. Chisholm to Jefferson County for his property on Disoovery Bay; whereupon it was regularly Moved, Seconded and Ordered: That in furth5r consideration for the property, the said Dan G..Chisholm be permitted to live on said property until hia death, and to receive and re- tain all rents and/or fees from cabins and boats: and the said property not to be sold until after his deatho No lease or sub-letting of the property permitted without the II I i .1 II ,I I written consent of the Board of Co~~tj Commissionors. M., the time and place for the hearing on the Pe- tition to vacate the street between Blocks 1 and 2 of H. W. Campbell's Addition to Quil- c~ne, ~~d all tho statuteD being complied with, Mr. Dave McI~JleB of the Quilceno School Board appeared on behalf of the Petitioners and Mr. Chas. McClanahan appeared against the Petition, p~eBenting a Petition signed by 24 reaidents in proteat to the vacation of said street. After arguments had been presented by each aide, it waD on Motion, duly Seoonded, orderod that the ~enrine on the Petition be oontinued to Monday, May 3, 1937, at the hour of 2 o'ClOCk; p. M.
