On Motion, duly seconded, the following Resolution vms unanimously adopted b~l
the Board:
RESOLUTION NO. 22.
VffiEREAS, it now appears to the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County,
State of Washington, that the Budget Appropriation for the year 1937 is not sufficient
~o meet the extra clorical assistance for the collection of the Excise Tax, as re-
quired by Chapter 228, Session Laws of 1937, and that a public emergency now exists
for that purpose, thererore,

BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioner8 of Jefferson County, State
of Washington, in regular session assembled, that there is, and hereby is appropriated
for the Current Expense Fund, Five Hundred and 00/100 U~500.00) DOllar-s, apportioned
as follows:
COU1fl'Y AUDITOR:
For Clerical assistance in collection of
Excise Ta~ and issuing 1938 Automobile Licenses,
:;;500.00
and the County Auditor of Jefferson COttnty, Wasluncton, bo, and he is hereby authorized
to issue Emergency Warrants upon said Current Expense Fund not exceeding the detailed
amounts aforesa~d, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said Appropriation havinc for its purpose the moet-
