The Honorable 'Board,oi' County' Commissioners met in the Commisoioners' Room in
the County Court House, at ,Port Townsend, Washington, on the above named date, at the
hour of 10 o'clock, A. M.
Present: Messrs. S. Lookhert~ Chair.man~ Roy L. Nordby and J. R. Cousens.
The.Minutes of the November, 1937, Sessions, read and approved.
On Motion, duly Seconded, Mr!t Frederick W. Brunton was appointed Administrator
o~ Jefferson County Department of Sooial Seourity.

Communication from IJr. L. G. McClellan in referenoe to a RiGht ot Way was re-
ferred to the County-Engineer.
On Motion, duly Seoonded, a Deed from Jefferson County to the state of Washington,
for a strip, 50. feet wide through oertain County m~ed property along Primary State High-
way NO.9, Brinnon.to ~uilcene, Walker Mountain Section, was ordered oxecuted by the
Board.
On Motion, duly Seconded, the Board adjourned to meet on TU6sday, Deoe~ber 7,
1937; at 10 o'clock, A. M.

with all members present.

Mr. Arthur Swanson of Port Ludlow appeared before the Board and presented a Petition
signed by ~nself and 26 others, pr.aying that a new ro~d be oonstruoted from Port Ludlow
to Swansonvil1e .and thrOUfYJ. to the Port Ludlow-Port Tovmsend H16hway., On Motion, duly
Seconded, it was orderod that the County ~-B1noer mvke ~~ investigation and report
to the Board.
On Motion, duly Seconded, Plans and Specifioat10ns for tho 1n~rovement of Saoondary
Road Project No. Pour Corne~B to Chevy Chuse, were approvod.
On Motion, duly Seoonded, the Doard adjourned to meet on Wednosday, Deoomber 8,
1937, at 10 o'clock, A. M.
