The Honorable Board of Oounty CommisQioners met in the Commissioners' Room in the
County Court House in Port Townsend, Waah~ngton, on the above nnmed date at the hour of
10 o'clook, A. M.
Present: Messrs. S. Lookhart, Chalr.man, Roy L. Nordby and J. R. Cousens.
The Minutes of the Deoember, 1937, Sessions read and approved.
Mr. Nansen Anderaon of the Lower Hoh appeared before the Board in regard to Roads
in that Distriot.
Clark and Harry Eaton and E. C. Niokeraon appeared before thel 'Bo~rd in rogard to
roads on the Coyle Peninsula.
The G.p,pointment of Mr. Melvin C. Hougan as County Agent was,on r,lotion, duly Seoonded,
approved by the Board.
The appointment of Mrs. Alma Webster Reister as County Nurse, was, on !.lotion, duly
Seoonded, approved by the Board.
On Motion, duly Seconded, the Board adjourned to meet on Tuesday, 'January 4, 1938,
at 10 o'clock, A. M.
Tuesday, January 4, 1938.
The Board reconvened on the above na~med date at 10 o'Clock, A. !.I., with all
members present. '
Communication from 11:':'8. Grace E. Fisher of Port AnGeles, Washington, relative to
the creation of a State Park to preserve the Rhododendron was referred to the County
Engineer.
Communication from A. L. Aarhaus, Grays Harbor County Commissioner, together with
copy 0:' letter from the Forest Supervisor, relative to a log jam on Finley Creek
was referred to the County Engineer.
Letter i'ront,I.[r. Luther L. Clark of Qulnault, relative to condition of road leadine
to his place wasrefarred to the County Engineer.
Connnunica.tion from A. C. West, LOW01' HOh, enclosing a request for improvewmt of
LOWC1' Hoh Road, WIlS ordered placed on file for future referenoe.
