The Honornble Bon~d of County Comnisaioner~ met in the Commissioners' Room in the
County Court House at Port T~/nsend, Washington, on the above named date at the hour
of 10 o'clook, A. M.
Present: l,tessrs. S. Lookhnrt~ Chairman, Roy L. Nordby and J. R. Couaenll.
The Minutes of the February, 1938, Sessions ~ead and approved.
The Road and Street Comnittee of Port Townsend City Council appeared before the
Board in reference to improvements of city streets.
Messrso W. F. Buhtzg Nansen Anderson and :Esper Bunoh representing the Western
Olympio Club, appeared before the Board and presented a Petition for Bridges and road
improvements in Western jefferson County.
At 2 o'Clock, P. M., it being the time ~~d placo for oponing Bids for Insurance
on County Motor Vehioles and County Property, sealed bids were reoeived from the
following:

After du~ oonsideration it was regularly Moved, Seoonded and Ordered, That the
Bid of $551.33 for lnsuranc~ Oli. Trucks and Cars be aW9.1.'ded to Geo. \Valch~ and the Bid
of $275.00, less estimatod dividend of 20%, insuranoe on Buildings and Equipment, be
awarded to F. J. Haight.
The Bid of the American Automobile Insuranoe Company was reoeived after Bids had
been opened and was rejected.
~~. R. G. Thomas a~peared b6fore the Board in reference to roads on Coyle Peninsula.
On Motion, duly second.ed, the Board adjourned to moet on Tuesday, Jliarch 8, 1938,
