examination the Board oertified that $128,661.61" being the total oash on hand and In

County Road Projects C-SM-l, C-SM-2 and C-SM-600-1 wore aooepted ao satisfaotorily
completed by the State Department of :Highways.
Resolution for the improvement of a portion of the Wost Chlmo.oWll Volley Rond at an
estimated cost of $15,000.00 and said improvement to be knovm as County Road Projoot
No.6, Jefferson County, was approved by the State Dirootor of lIighwayo.
Miss Louise Flanagan submitted her resignation an County School Nurso, which was

reluctently accepted by the Board, end on motion, duly aeoonded, m.S!! l1abel H. l-oney
was appointed County School Nurse, effeotive August 1, 1938.
Resolution setting aside $2500.00 for improvement of roads in and noar 0100 Addition,
and designating said project as County Rond Projeot No.7; Jofferaon CQunty WuS Gpproved
by the State Director of Highways.' I
Resolution setting aside $1000.00 from the County Rond Fund for oxponooo in makIng
survey and preparing plans for the Oak Bay Canal Bridge, and designating tho projeot
as County Road Project No.8, Jefferson County, was approved by the Stato Dirootor of
Highways.
The following Resolution was unanimously adopted by the Board:

WHE~AS the estimated cost or County Road Projeot No. 3 wan $2951.29, and
WHE~AS during the course of construction it was nooesoary to inorov.oo oortain
quantitieo, and
WhEREAS the final cost of County Road Projeot No. 3 is $3433.36,
BE IT THEREFO~ RESOLVEU that $3433.36 be set aside from tho County Rond Fund, for
