Monday, Deoember 5, 1938.
The Honorable Board of County, CommissIoners met in the Connnissioners' Roem in the
County Court House at Port Townsend on the above named date, at the hour of 10 o'olock,
A. M.
Present: Messrs. S. Lookhart, Chairman, Roy L. Nordby and J. R. Cousens.
The Minutes of the Nov~nber, 1938, Sessions read and approved.
Mr. A. Mueller, Brinnon, appeared before the Board and presented a Petition, whioh,
by his request, was withdrawn.
On Motion, duly seconded, the,plaee knoWf& as the Smith Farm in Seotions 34 and 35,
Township 31 North, Range 1 West, was rented to Mr. Pete Naughton for a ter.m of one
year at a rental of $10.00.
On Motion, duly seoonded, the, Fair Grounds were rented to Mr. Harry Hansen for a
period 01' one year at a rental of $20.00.
Petition for the position of road foreman, Brinnon Distriot, from Mr. Herbert o.
Solwold, WQS referred to the new Board.

Oral ~plication for the position of Cat driver, Land Clearing Project, by Mr. Harry
Swanson, Port Ludlow, was referred to the new Board.
On Motion, duly seoonded, the, Board adjourned to meet on Tuesday, December 6,
1938, at 10 o'olock, Ao M.

Connnunication from Mr. Edward Long regarding a road to his home on Toe.ndos Peninsula
was referred to the County Engineer.
Ccmmunications from the Director of Highways approving Resolutions of the Board
in referenoe to C. R. P. Nos. 7 and 9, were received, and ordered placed on file.
On Motion, duly seoonded, the Board adjourned to meet on Wednesday, Deoember 7,
1938, at 10 o'Clock, A. M.
