JEFFERSON COUNTY
On motion, duly seoonded, the Board adjou~ned to meet on Friday, January 6, 1939,
at 10 o'Clock, A. M.
FridB1, January 6, 1939.
The Board reoonvened on tho abov~ named date at the hour of 10 o'olook, A. M.,
with all members present.
On motion, duly seconded, the following Resolutions were unanimously adopted by
the Board:
Resolution No. 72
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County that
sundry areas therein need development for agrioultural purposes and that the owners there-~
of oannot privately clear and grub the same, and, that it is in the publio interest that
the County of Jefferson assist insofar therein as it may legally do so,
AND, WHEREAS, the County of Jefferson is the owner of eqUipment necessary to
accomplish the foregoing objeotives,
THEREFORE, BE IT ImSOLVED, BY THE BOARD of County Connnlssioners of Jefferson County,
Washington, that the County be authorized to enter into contracts upon form to be approve
by this Board prOViding for the rental of such clearing equipment as is now ovrned by
Jefferson County to such landowners thereof as may desire to hire suoh equipment, and
that rates thereof be fixed for the rental thereof
