WlmllliAS, the County Auditor of Jefforson County, Washington, needs the convenienoe
of a Revolving Pund for small cash transaotions to oarry on the business in his office
BE IT '.l'HEREFORE HESOLVED that such a fund be set up, and tho County Auditor is
hereby authorized to draw a warrant in the sum of One Hundred ($100.00) to establish
fluch fund for his use, the srone to be 1010vm as tho County Auditor is Rovolving ~und.

RESOLUTION NO. 79
WHEREAS the agricultural development of Jefferson County is of prime importance
to the economic future of the county, and
\T1iEREAS such development can be expedited by offering the farm owners an inex-
pensive medium to cleal' lands that are no\'! idle, and
VlliEREAS the most efficient method of clearing land is by the use of a bulldozer

with the necessary land clearing attachments, and
VffiEREAS the Board of County Commissioners, oognizant of the importance of the
problem, have deemed it wise to offer to the far.m owners a County oVnled bulldozer at
a rental price of :~15.00 per day, and
iTIiEREAS said Board has included in the Agricultural BudGet for the year 1939, the
sum of $6700.00 to finwice such a program, and
DE IT THEHEFORE RESOLVED that the Land Clee.:dng Progrum hereby be approved as e.
normal function of the operation of the AGricultural Department of Jefferson County
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Treasurer be autho:dzed to receive payments
from the farm owners receiving benefits from suoh pX'O[5rrol1, and tho.t suoh r'ec0ipts be
