The Honorable Board of County CornmisBioners mot in regular seasion in the Commissioners Room
in the County Court House at Port 'J:01'Il'Isend, Wash. on the above ll8IIled date, at the hOUT of 10, A.M.
Present: Messrs. Roy L. Nordby, Chainnan, Ray E. Ammeter and BertH Kroee, members.
Minuets of the October, 1939, meoting read and approved.
Bond of County School Sup1t Geo Munn exsmined and approved in the sum of $1000, ordered tiled.
Word '/Se received of the approval of the Quilcene Park and Ten.n.is colUlt. construction
approval, by Don Able.
Ml's. Peterson of Dabob appeared and asked that the road to the head of Dabob Bay be improved.

We, the undersigned residents of Jefferson Countys Wash. living in the vicinity of
the preci1lct of Port Ludlow, do hereby respectfully request that the s~alleed SWansonville Road
from its intersedtion with the Port Ludlow-Chimacum Road to Swamsonville, be improved along the
existing grade by widening and straightening the same.
Petition was signed bya large number of residents and will be given earefUll consideration.
Marine Drive Petition.
Inasmuch as there has been mu~ discussion of a scenic or waterfront road from Glen Cove
South to Irondale, therefore we the undersigned petition your Honorable Board of County
Commissioners of Jefferson County to build a road from Glen Cove to Irondale, to Hadlock to Die
into the sU1"VeJ7Y now undeZ'WaF. (Oak Bay to Mats Mats) followinss 1lhen pOSSible, the general
contour of the waterfront.

The Board to consider this matter with regard to costs, etc.

The Honorable Board reconvened on the above date at 10 am with all present.
A representative of the J. Hofert XMAS tree Company appeared before the Board with a list of
County holdings upon 19hich they would cut XMAS Uimes, l'lhich was given the o.k. bit the Board.
Mrs. Olson, who oppsrated the Brinnon-Seabeck forry appeared before the Board asking that
the road from the highway to the ferry slip be improved, 19hich was ordered done at once.
Mr. John Kirsch of the N.Y.A. school asked the Board if he could secure Som8 timbers from
the old mill near the Boatl Haven. He wae informed that this IiIJl had been sold. but that he might
arrange with the purchasers to trade w.l.th them.
