JEFFERSON COUNTY
Thursday - Dee 7th, 19J9.
The Honorable Board reconvened on the above named date at the hour of 10 A.M. with all members present,
Mr. Johnson of Dabob appeared before the Board asking that a side road approach be built on the Port
Ludlow road so that he could stailt logging and ViaS assured this would be done at once.
The following resolutions were Passed:

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the following is a correct list of quantities for the items changed:
Excavation Class I A' 4908 C'Y.
Screened Gravel 2046 C. Y.
Concrete Pipe 12" 198 L.F.

RESOLUTION NO 137.
WHEREAS, Plans and specifications were drawn for the constrUotion of County Road Project #17,
Jefferson C01iIJ.ty, and
ViHEREAS, during the course of construction it became necessary to change the plans, and
VIHEREAS the change necessitated a change in the list of quantities,
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the following is a correct list of quantities for the items changed:
ClasD 'A' Excavat.ion 4764.3 C.Y.
Structure " 37.8 C.Y.
Class 'D' II 86.9 C.Y.
Concrete Pipe 12" plain 99.0 L.F.

WHEHEAS, it appears to. the satisfaction of this Board tha t the funds alloted for supplies and
travel expense in the 1939 budget. for the office of County Auditor are exhausted, and,
VIHEHEAS, it .furthe~ apwar6 to tbis Board t:Jat a substantial portion of the appropriation for
postage and telephone & telegrams for said office remains unexpended,
BE IT THE"rlEFORE RESOLVED, that the sum of $190 :from poahge and $2.5.00 from telephone and telegrams
be transferred to the supplies of said budget; and the sum of $5.00 be transferred from telephone
and telegrams appropriation to the travel expense appropriation of said budget, and the Auditor and
Treasurer of Jefferson County, State of WaShington, are herewith instructed to draw and pay warrants
against such account in not to exceed the foregoing sum.

WHEREAS, it is to the best interests of the ~eople of Jefferson County that the portion of the
Count:',' Road System knOl'ffi as the Lake Leland Cut.-off be improved under County Road Specifications, and
VIHERAS the -public interests of the People of J~fferson County demand the improvement and,
WHEREAS the estimated cost of the project is $1350.00,
BE I1' 'lHEREFORE RESOLVJW that tho Lelnno. Cut-off be improved begenning at the intersection of the
Old Quilcene-Leland road in the NW~ Sw;. See 25, T!'P 28 N.R. 1 W., thence eaaterly a distanoe o:f 1800 ft,
such point intersecting State Road No.9 in the NE~ ~ Sec. 25, Twp 2a N.R. 2 W. W.M., under tho
provisions of Chapter 187, Session 1nwc of 1937, and Chapter 181, Session Laws of 1939, and that the sum
$1350.00 be Bet ll.9:!.de from the County Road Fund for tha purposes a1'ortlll6.Rd.
