Whereas the County of Jeffer.son has requested ,the Department of Highways to perfonn tho following
work t Painting traffic stripe ,on the Port To\'msond to Port Ludlow Road, Junction State Road No 9
to Beaver Valley, Chimacum to Qqllcene.. Townsend Cut-:off, . . '
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, tllat the StateAudi~qris hereby nuthorized to set aside from the monies
accruing to the said ,County of J,efferson, under the provisions of Chapter 181 of the Session Laws of 1939,
the sum of $96.47 and to pay the same to the Department of HighwnYs I\S canpensn tion for the aforesaid
work, upon presentation of vouchers properly certified by the Director of Highways.

The Commissioners and the Auditor counted the Treasurer's cash and found it to be correct to the
amount of Cash on hand to date $1,655.61 and a certified bank stntementof $89;301.73.
The Board adjolL'I"J1ed to meet again on Wednesday, Oct 9th, at 10 A.M.

The Board reconveened on the above named date and hour with all membera preBent.
The report of Dr. Foster of the public health Dept vras received, examined and ordered filed.
The report of the Land clearing Division was also rec'ived and examined and ordered filed.
Tha approval of the following land sales was O.K.d, and which will appear in deta.il on the next
land sale. Johnson ft Gunstone & John H. Nisbet.
The report of the County Extension service WaS' received and examined and ordered filed.
Upon motion the board adjourned to meet again on Thursday, Oct. lOth. at 10 A.M.
