under-supplied with current lagp1 work~, and
W!EREAS a complete set of the Pacific lteporter is r.v;'.ilable frol:! the lion John !.'c. Raat.ston, for the StUll
of Five Hundred ($500.) Dollars instead of the usual One Thousand (~?lOOO.OO) Dollars for such a set, and
W'1ERE.AS there is ~n abundant surplus in the Haintenance and Operation division of the buuget. for
the year of 1940 for s:-.id Court tnat win remain unexpended.
IT IS HEREBY H.ESa.:.VED Aim OlIDJHED that the sum of Five Hundred (;,500.00) DoHars is hc'rewith ts.ken
frorn the other items 1n the t.!aintenance and Operation division of said Cour't budget for the year 1940
and is transferred to the item for purchase of books. The Budi tor AI is further instructed to draw a
w3rrant against s~id item and present it to the treasurer who shall then cause it to be paid in the
manner provided by law.
