Upon motion the Board adjourned to meet again on Friday, Sept 12th,
Friday Sept 12 at 10 A.M.

The Board reconvened on the above named date and hour with !!J.l members present.
The report of the County Agent was received examined and ordered placed on file.
A number of land applications were examined and signed.
An agreement WaS signed by the Canmissioners with the Chaufi'e::,s, Teamst.ers and. Helpel's Locel
No. 589 agreeing on a wRge sC'lle effective Septlst, 1941, as .follows:
Truck Driver ~ .~.3 Per Hour
Mechanic 155.00 Per month
"Helper 120.00 II II
Bulldozer Operator 1.04 Per Hour
Shovel Runner 1.04 II II
Grader Man (Motor Patrol) .82 II II
Handyman {Shall include any regular
employee performing any duty within the regular course of work, other tha., specified in tbis agreement

Upon Motion the Board adjourned to meet again on Monday, Sept 15 at 10 A.M.

The Board reconvened with all members present.
1be follovling resolutions were signed.
RESOLUTION No. B 27. Queets River Bridge.
WHEREAS on July 10th, 1941, Resolution No. B. 16 initi~ting the painting of the Queets River
Bridge at the Harlow Crossing w~s approved by the Department of Highw8Ys, and
WHEREAS due to shortnge of 'skilled labor and lateness of the season, it is necessary to delete
the project from the 1941 program,
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the monies set <)sjjde "s provided bJr Resolution No. B-16 fro!!! the
Co~~ty Read Fund, be hereby rescinded.

RESOLUTION No. B 28.
East Quiicene Bridge.

WHEREAS a project known as County l':c3,d Project HO. 40, East,Quilcene Bridge has been approved, and.
WHEREAS the estimated cost of the project was $6500.00, Rnd
WHEREAS upon preparation of the surveys and plans of said improvement, the estimated cost
Was increased to $7500.00,
BE IT TrlEREFORE RESOLVED TIiAT the estin~ted cost of s~id irnprov~lent be increased from $6500
to $7500.00 and that said sum be set aside for the purposes ~foresaid, RS provided under the
provisions of Chapter 187, Session laws of 1937 and Chapter 181 session l~ws of 1939.

the extra man required qn the Nordland Ferry Itnd t,hat the Port Commisa:l.on pay the remaining half.
