roads be set at 40 mile, per hour w~s aigned and returned to that office.
Bids were apened for the burial af County' Indigent and it Was found tha.t the Port Tovffisend
Mortuary and the C,lrroll 1,lortuary were the sflllle.

Motion made, seconded and carried to have all logging o~erators put up a Bond of ~~500.00 bef.ore
they staDt work to insure their proper care and upkeep of the roads they operate on.

The Board and the Auditor counted the Tree.surer I s cash and found it to be cOl'l'ect in the amount
of cash on hand $2,774.64

B.r; IT Ri:SOLVED by the Board of County Cummissioners of the County of Jefferson, that
mlEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, ~a pursuant to Laws of 1937~ Chapter
189, Section 66, deem it advisable to !egtuate the speed of vehicles en County Roads of
Jefferson County, on account of conditions e:idstine due to the war emergency.
NOW, 'l'HEHEJ!'OHE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED:
That the maxium sneed of all vehicles on all count.y roads in Jefferson Count,y il:l i'llnoaed
and fixed' at fort~ (40) miles an hourJ
IT IS RUHTflEH, RESOLVED that, the present signs maintained or. a.11 county roads of
