l'IHEREAS there is now a road building project under "8'T under county supervision in the
'Western end of Jef'ferson County, Washington, and
i'IHERFJ.5 there is a rather high turn-over~ the workmen employed thereon, and
WHEREAS this face, lIhen oonsidered with ~stances to Port Townsend, the County seat, makes
it most difficult to arrange for prompt and timely payment of the workmen, and
1'lHEHEAS the .following arrangement is deemed by the ccmnissioners of Jefferson County mos1:.
satistaotorily to solve this progmam,
IT IS BY '!'HE BOARD OF CCl.!MlSSIONERS OF JEFFERSON COUNTIclul:y resolved and ordered that thel"e
shall be, and herewith is, set up a J'evolving fund to be known as the West End Road Construction
Fund, and an amount of One Thousand ($lOOO.OO) dollars is herewith appropriated from the C01mty
Road F'W'1li and transferred -Co 3a1d 0001.-'1:Y iW.AD RlWCii.Vllm FliND to be disbursed therefrom upon
vouchers accepted and apprcMld by L30n Ckluld, who ehall bo the County's representativa tor thG
prompt and proper adm1n1l!1trallion of this Revol'9ing Fund in Said West End. Amounts so disbursed
by Said Leon Gould shall be then reported to the Engineer and Camdssionerll of Jefferson County
and f'dnds transferred to said Jill County Road revolving fund to replace tho amount,s thus expended.
IT IS FURTHER RPSOLVED AND ORDERED that s!tid Leon Gould shall give upto the County of
Jefferson, State of Washington, a surety bond in the amount of One Thousand (UOOO.OO) Dolla.rs
