Court for the WeateJ:'n District of Wash1ng+..on, Nortilern Division, fUed a Pet.ition in Condemnation
and a 1leclsrntion of Taking covering tho following described property~
.All that property known as IndiGJ1 Islnnd, lying between Kilisut Harbor and Port
Townsend, Washir>.gton, being sitUated in Sections 5,6,7, and 8 of Township 29 North, Range 1 East,
W.Y.; Sections 18,19~ 30 and 31 of Township 3IJ North, Range 1 East, W.M.; Section 1, Township
29 North, Range 1 We8t, W.M.J and Sections 24,25 and 36, Township 30 North, Range 1 West, W.M.;
said Islal'lds being sitUated directly west of Yarrowstone Island and surrounded by Kilisut Harbor
(Scow BaY*), Port Townsend Bay, Portage Bay and Oak Bay, subject to an easement for therl.ght of

WHEREAS it 'WaS the intention of Jefferson County in the adoption of Resolutio,n No. B-22 to
have title to County owned uplands and all tidelands excepting the Southerly 2 chains of Tideland TaX
