The minutes of the Feby meeting were read and approved.
It bcIing th6 time and plAce for the awarding of fire proteotion inaurance on thG Quilcene and
Q\imacum County Garages it was decided to let Geo Welch write the policies and for him to split the
premiums with the five insurance agencies and agents, namelYt

Motion made and asconded and Carried to investigate the posibl11ty of installing a new heating
system or at least a boUer in tho Court Houee.

The Board reconvened on the above named date and hour with all members present.
Most of the day was taken in a discussion of the selling of 17 lots to the Federal Housing

matter it WaS put to a vote and Mr. Nisbet and Boren voting to seal and Mr. Kruse voting no. n.€- :I.~o.
A letter was recUved from the Quilcene Parent Teacher Ass'n 'With a request thtl-t the Board use
their influence to have U.S. Highway No. 101 relocated along the beach from Qui1cene to BrinnooJ and
the present road arount:l. Mt. Walker to becane. a secondary highway. It "as moved and aeconded that
the Clerk of the Board 'Write to the proper authorities asking that this be done in the future.
It being the time and. place to receive bids for County P);inting the 1e.!ider Cc:mPaI'G" pZ'9sented
t.'1air bid of 60; for first insertion, per inch and 45; for subsequent insertions, which "as accepted.
The BOard adjourned to meet again on Friday, March 10th, at 10 A.M.

request that the County take over the Forest, roads in Jefferson Co,mty (numberillg about. 79 miles)
and that the county ma:l.ntain them for the Forest Service at an emount of cG1lpensation to be dtl'termined
