WHEREAS :tn October, 1943, th~ tmderstgned Commissioners of JetferBon County, Wnsh. did levy a twO-mill
tax upon all the taxable property of ~aid County for purposes of publio assistance, and
WHEREAS to .June 30, 1944, tho sum of ~El9.31.45 haS been collect~d from snid levy, and
WHEREAS ~le total due from Said lovy for said flubliCl A.sststanc-e Account is the surn or ~'99?2.10, and
WHEREAS there is thero.fore a deficiency in the amou.'1t of $10'.0.65 between the amount thus collected
and the total due said Publio Assistance Account from eaid two-mill levy, ~nich deficiency must be made
up from the Current Rlcpenec Fund of !laid County,
IT IS HEREWITH RESOLVED AiiD ORDERED that the stun of $1040.65 is herewith transferred from the Current
Expense Fund to the Public Assistance Account as payment in full of Said aum still due from the snid
two-."i\i11 levy.

WHERElIS in the Past, the Camnissioners of Jefferson County, have failed to pay into the Public
Assistance .Account of the Current Expense Fund the full amounts due said Fund from the Two-mill levy made
on all taxable property within the boundariss of said County, and
WHEREAS it has been stipuJ.ated and agreed by and bet~een 9aid Commissioners and Vern E. Graham,
Director of Social Secur:l.t.y for t.-'1e State of Washington that the !!Ul'! of $4000.00 will be accepted by
said Department of Social Security ss settlement in full for all Mid past unpaid sums, and
VIHEREAS the Rum of $4000.00 has been budgeted in the year 1944 for the payment 0: said stipulated sum
IT IS HEREWInI RESOLVED Al'JD ORDERED that the said sum of $.4000.00 heretofore budgeted in the Current
Expense Fund for the settlement of said claim be, and that the same herm th is j transferred to tho
Public Assistance Account of the Current Expense Fund and shall thereafter be disbursed in the manner
provided by law and by the regulations of the State Director of Social Security.
