After a hearing with the I'rosecuting Attorney Mr. Rht!a th~ Board decided to declsr0 an emergency

suPPl71ng the Prosecutor with la1l books for flevare.:!. years Past and 1lbich have only been paid for in
part. Mr. Nisbet made the motion and this wP.s seoonded by Mr. Milroy, Mr. Rhea to draw up tM
emergency and set the d" te for the hearing and publioation.

The Board met again on the above named date and hour with all membeI's present.
The Board and Auditor counted the County Treasurer's Cash and found it to be oorrect in the
amount of cash on hand $883.81 and the Bank balance of ~:360,963.04,

The Board met on the above named date and hour .Rith all m9lll.bers present.
Land applications were looked over and signed for sale. In the afternoon manwrs of the City Council
the Mayor and City Clerk visited the Board relative to the coming Oiling job for county road and
City streets and the Board agreed to pay half the expense of the City oilins propama lIl1lounting to
about $4500.00 (estimated).

Mr. Gehrke of Port Angeles 8u1m1tted a bid or offer of $200.00 for an old Ryan Grader now located
in the West end of Jefferson County and upon motion by Mr. Nisbet seconded by Mr. Milroy this Wall ordered
sold to Mr. Gehrke and his check for $200.00 Was accepted in payment.
