The minutes of the December meeting were r-ead Md appr-oved.
Upon motion made by Mr. Milroy, Mr. Jack FarNU WflS aPpotnted to fill. the unexpired term of 'Ghe
2nd Disc't commissioner caused by the dGath of Mr. Nisbet and accorltlngly Mr. FarrGll was o.ppo1nt$d to
fill this position and he WnS sworn in by the County A\1dit.fJ2' and cCIT.pleied h.lte oath o! :lifice.
The Board and Auditor counted 'the Treuaursrls ~lll'lh nnd found it to be cOllrect in the amount of
cash on hand $14.33.11 and the bank balance of e:333,4IJ5.7.3 to be cor%'&ot.
A petition WaS presented to the Board, signed by a number or citizens of D15triet #2 asking ~~at
Mr. L.W. Power be appo1nted to fill Mr. NiBbet's place nth Mr. Oao Huntingford as an Illtornat.e.

The Board decided to continue to study the offers: The pollcy of the Board being to try and
distribute this dale of County gas to the various companies who are all ta."Cpayers and thus help them all.
Mrs. Stutler appeared before the Board relative t.o the amount of money be be allocated the County
Schools from Federal Forest Moneys which the county 'Will receive this year and which is suppOsed to
be in the neto'.r sum of $77 ,000.00 and upon motion made by Mr. Milroy and seconded by Mr. Farrell the
Schools will receive the sum of $40,000 as their share.
