Port Townsend. i'Tashington' on this date, and called to order by County Auditor. Helen J. Eads, Clerk of the :Boord, acting as Chnirman. Upon motion m:?de 'by :Board member Tom ~Iilroy nnd seconded 'oy :Boord Member George Huntingford, Lyall Arey \./s,s nominated for Chairman a.ncl duly elected to the pOllition by U!'.animoue vote of the :Board. All members of the :Board were duly qualified to a.ct llS ouch, A. Clomens Grndy. Fro~ecuting.Attorney present. Mr. Arthur :Boren ap?eared before the :Board snd explained actions tr.kan by previous Bonrd rel~tive to County Nemorial Park and County Airport. Nr. J. T. There are man;' small 'projects too numerous to mention. ~mintenance of the Jefferson County Road System on a hiGh plane of efficien~J during the difficult Wlr cond.itions. My home and my family end many of my friends are in Jefferson County and I should like ~othinr; better than to continue the job of making the Jefferson County Road System amoI~ the best in the State. a position which it n~N holds.
