meet in regular session on Jun'e 16,' 1947.
June 16. 1947.
The :Board of County Commissioners met in regular sosdon at 10100 A. M. ,0 at the Court House.
~he members proceeded to Sav.on Sisters Bench Road near Shine and gave permission to Kaiser, Shanafelt
, and Nicholls to uss the elid of the County road for logg1l'.g purpose::.
The :Board reconvened at 1100 p.m. Lowell Stickney reported on finances at CountY' Airport,
Keith Jones, Ell~neer, conferred wi th :Board on vario'.1s road projects in Oounty. '
:Bide for repaira to Court Rouse were opened by the Board 'at 31.00 .p.m. I with: bids reoebed as follows I
Lidral Construotion Co. $64,446.00
Century Construotion Co. 74,2.50.00 .
Cotton Engineering & Ship. Co. 63,228.00.
The :Board took the above bids under advisement and announoed that awards would be announced later.
The bid of Cotton Engineering and Shipbuilding.Oo., was accepted in amount of $6:3,228.00 by motion
made bY' Goo. Hunt1ngford and seconded by Tom Milroy and unanimously passed by the Board.
The Board adjourned the June meeting at 4:1.5 p.m.
