Monday, October 6, 19~7.
Tho Honorable Board of Jefferson County Commissioners met in regular session at
10:00 A. M., with Lyall Arey, Chairman, Tom Milroy and George Huntingford, members, .
presant. .
Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved as read.
H. A. Cotton appeared with his bond in amount of .25,~~3.00 and the contract for
th6 building of bleachers and rest rooms at ~~e Jefferson County Memorial Field, was
signed by Mr. 9otton and the Board of County Commissioners.
Joe Welch appeared before the Board relative to liability insurance for the Jefferson
County Mamorial Field. $lO,OOO for one person to $200,000 for anyone accidant, was the
balsiB for the policy! which was Riven to the Welch Insurance Agency for such coverage.
Resolution No. 0-27 for strIping certain roads in Jefferson County for $1,165.00
was signed as follows:

IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it; is their inten-
tion to stripe 35.1 miles of Jefferson County roads.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that for the foregoing proper county road purpose there is
hereby appropriated sums in the following detail:

The County road purpose herein described in HWREBY DECLARED to be a public necessity and the
County Road Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED to report and proceed thereon as b~
law provided. '
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this purpose be perfonned by Jefferson Co. in accordance with
the Standard Road and Bridge Specifications of the State of Washington as adopted by this
Board.
ADOPTED this 6th day of October, 1947.
