RESOLUTION VACATING PORTION OF COUNTY ROAD
IN THE MATTER OF THE PETITION
OF WM. HILLER AND OTHERS FOR
VACATION OF A COUNTY ROAD KNm~
AS THE OAK BAY-MATTS ~~TTS ROAD
No. C-32.
The petition of Wm. Hiller and others for vacation and abandonment of the portion
of the county road hereinafter described came on regularly for hearing before t.he Board
of County Commissioners of Jefferson County on the 1st day of December, 1947, at
10:00 o~clock A. M.
The report of the County Engineer on the petition having been duly filed and con-
sidered by the Board and proof of service and publication of notice of the time and
place of the hearing having been duly filed and the Board having heard all persons
desiring to be heard for or against the granting of the petition and having considered
the report of the County Engineer thereon together with all evidence for and objection
against. such vacation or abandonment, the Board, being fully advised, finds:
1. That the petition for vacation was signed by more than ten freeholders
residing in the vicinity of the portion of the county proposed to be vacated and conforms
to the requirements of law in all respects.
2. That notice of the time and place of hearing the petition was published and
posted as required by law.
3. That at the time or' filing the petition, petitioner Wm. Hiller deposited with ,
Jefferson County $100.00 in cash in lieu of a bond conditioned that the petitioners will
pay into the County road fund the amount of all costs and expenses incurred in the
ex~mination, report, and all procee9ings pertaining to such petition to vacate and
abandon.
4.. That the portion .of county roa~ described in the petition is not useful e~d
the public will be benef::'tted by its vacation.
5. That all costs and expenses incurred ih the proceedings have he en paid out of
the $100.00 deposit above mentioned.
It is therefore RESOLVED that the portion of the above named county road described
as follows:
All that porti.on of abandoned County Road No. 180 lying in Gov. Lot 3,
Sec. 7, Township 29 North, Range 1 E. W. M.

Passed by unanimous vote of the Board of County Co~~issioners of Jefferson County,
