A' letter was received from Mrs. Lena Fletcher, Clerk of School District relative to contemplated additions to Olympic National Park. Representative be con~acted regarding this proposed increase in park boundaries. Meeting adjourned at 3:30 p.m. Board convened at 10:00 A. M. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the master license on pin ball machines was raised from $1,000.00 to $2,000.00 annually " next renawal date. Recess for noon. County Engineer Keith Jones conferred with the Board on various road Portage Canal Bridge. Additional bills ,.,ere approved. Thursday, December 4, 1947. the Board met at 10:00 A. M. Jefferson County Airport. Recess for noon. Members spent the afternoon inspecting County Duane Clocksin appeared and made a report on business roads. I I' Friday, D.ecember 5, 1947. Ii The Board met at 10:00 A. M. Mr. John Campbell and Mr. F. E~l Naylor from.seaholJI ~ddi tion near Thorndyke appeared before the Board representing 24 residents of that II distrtct requesting a road into their community. A petition signed by these residents !i was presented. The only road into this property crosses private property and has been \: closed to public use, making water landings the only possible means of getting into the II community. The Board will have the Engineer make a survey to' determine if it is possibl~ to secure rights of way and build a road into this property. il II Monday - December 15', 1947.
