Monday, February 2, 1948.
The Honorable Board of Jefferson County Commissioners met in regular session at
'10:00 A. M., with Chairman Lyall Arey.,p George Huntingford and Tom Milroy members,
ipresent 'and Prosecuting Attorney A. ~~emens Grady. .
, An application for a liquor license was received for Albert G. Scribner and Helen
R. Scribner at Brinnon Tavern & Lunch at Brinnon. The application was approved by the
Board. .
, M1nutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved as read.
Representatives of Bucyrus-Erie Co., appea~ad concerning a ahovel for the highway
department. No 'shovel is contemplated for the Countyat the present time.
Mr. J. Harold Dollar appeared relative to property under the Washington Street fl1l~
No action taken.
By motion duly made, seconded and carried,' Mr. Axel Swanson was appointed care-taker
for Jefferson County Memorial Field at Port TOWDs0nd, at $200.00 ;on~~ly.
Recess for lunch.

The Forest Reserve Fund of $59 853.94 will be divided as follows: $20,000 to the
Jefferson County Schools and $39,853.94 to the Jefferson County Roads, as per Resolution

,$59,853.9~ f~om the Forest Reserve Fund be disbursed as follows:
$20,000.00 to the Jefferson County Schools
39,a53.94 to the Jefferson County Roads.
