M., with all members present. Mr. Adolf Getchman appeared and requested an additional amount of pension. He was referred to Chas. W. Miller, Welfare Administrator. W. J. Daly appeared with Mr. J. Harvey Leach, District manager of Puget Sound Power and Light Company requesting a franchise on certain roads in Jefferson County for power lines. County Road No. 32, Peter Myers County RoadJ Oak Bay-Mats Mats Road, County Road No. 141 (Marrowstone Island), County Road No. 98 \Marrowstone Island), Chevy Chase-Beckett Point Road, County Road No. 159, Beckett Point. The Board 'set May 3, 1948 at 10:00 A. M., as day of hearing on the matter. The Board signed the Order flXing date of hearing. , . Mrs. Phoebe Harris appeared and reported timber being cut on swk Section 3, Township 28: Range, 2 West, An investigation will be made. Mr. F. Earl Naylor and Mr. Nelson appeared requesting information concerning a road down to their beach property at Seaholm Addition. The County Engineer explained plans that he is working on at this time. About July 1st it will be known about how much money is available for road constuction. Mr. Jack Broshear, Mr, Clark Eaton and others appeared relative to Coyle Hill road. The Engineer plans on opening a temporary road until next year, due to the fact, if the Nordland Bridge goes through, all County road money will be neEeesary for that purpose. A. W. Haines appeared relative to a road needing repair. The matter to be investi- gated. Bids were received for County printing as follows: . Johnson of Pope & Talbot Company appeared and filed a plat for Ludlow Beach Tracts, on the south side of Ludlow Bay.
