HomeMy WebLinkAbout0822 COMMiSSlor~ERS' PROCEEDINGS-N JEFFERSON COUNTY, WASHINGTON ---- I Ii Ii particularly described in the Declaration of Taking filed May l~ 1949, in the United ii States District Court, Western District ofW&shington, Northern fJivision, Civil No. 949': and " WHEREAS Jefferson County Washington, a municipal corporation, is the owner or , the tee simple title to a portion of the property described in said declaration or taking designated as Parcel 353, and: WHEREAS, it is mutually agreed between respondent and petitioner, United States of' America, that the just compensation for' the taking of the fee simple title to Parcel ' 353 and for any and all damages arising out of the taking of said property, is the sum of Three Hundred and nO/1OO Dollars ($300.00) without interest. tJOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Commissionars of Jefferson County, Washington at a regular meeting held this day that the Prosecuting Attorney of Jefferson 60unty; Washington.. be and he is hereby authorized to execute a stipulation for entry of judgment in saia Cause No. 949 pending in the United States District Court, Western District of Washington, Northern Division, providing that the just compensation and total amount of damages for the taking by the United States of the fee simple title to said property is the sum of Three Hundred and nO/lOa Dollars($300.00) without interest, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Prosecuting Attorney of Jefferson County, Wash- ington be and he 1s authorized to execute any papers Which may be necessary to effectua~e the entry of said judgment. SEAL LYALL AREY GEORGE HUNTINGFORD TOM MILROY The Board recessed at 4:00 p.m., to meet again in regular session on the Jrd Monday of the month. I Monday, October 18, 1948. The Board met at, 10:00 A. M. Mr. Norbit O. Megorden appeared with a claim of $32.00 for carrying mail while the Hoh River Bridge was under construction. The claim was rejected as there are no funds available with which to pay su~ claims. The application of T. L. McCormick in amount of $30.00 was approved for the SE~ swk NWe Sec. 19, T. 27, R. 1 E. The application of Shine Cemetery association for the Shine Cemetery in Sec. 33, T. 28 N. R 1 E., was approved in amount of $1.00. Mr. Martin Parkko appeared in behalf of the Shine Cemetery Association. The balance of the day was spent by the members of the Board in inspection of several county roads.
