A call tor bide wae made tor sale of 1 model 10-B Bucyrus-Erie Shovel, Equipment No. Sl, and 1 low bed trailer, County Equipment No. 80. The date opening bids was tixed tor March 11, at 10:00 A. M. County set f'or A delegation of 00y19 ~@81dentB appeared relative to road conditions at Coyle, requesting ~ ma1ntenance man to be stationed on th~ Coyle road. The Board agreed to put a man on the road m&inten~'cG work 1; daYG a rnofith, and hired Mr. Clark Eaton for tho work. ' A report was reoeived tram the Puget Sound Navigation Company for December, 1948, showing a net 108e of $4,246.82 for tho Edmonds-Port Ludlow Ferry for that month. A letter was reoeivod from the Quilcene Community Association, commending the road crews for keeping roads open d ur1ng the recent snows. A circular letter was received tram the Army Engineers stating that plans f'or the Portage Canal Bridge are being prepared.
