The Honorable Board of Jefferson Oounty Oommlssioners met at 10:00 A. M., this date!~
Mr. Clark Eaton, Coyle. resigned the position of road man on the Coyle road, due toll
ill health" The Board appointed Mr. Lee Morgan for the position. il
Mr. Herman Nebel, Gardiner, requested permission to drill water well on the old i:
Stqte Highway which is now a County road. Engineer Jones to get correct property des- Ii

Mr. o. G. Mosley appeared and requested permisE'ion to cut timber near the airport. "
The Prosecuting Attorney will give a ruling to the Board on the matter. !i

The Board ruled that no horses or mules will be allowed on the Jefferson Countt
Memorial Field at any time, for health protection for football players, and to avoid
damage to turf.

Mrs. Daisy N. King and Mrs. Lee Darls appeared with a letter from J. O. Tiffany,
, County Agricultural Agent, announcing his resignation as Secretary of the 4-H Fair. A
, discussion arose as to the funds in the Fair Association.
