Land application was approved as follows:
Louis Hansen - Bracken's Addition to P. T. - Lots 1, 2, ~ 3, Blk 18,
and Lot 19 - ilk 20 - offered $20.00.
The meeting'adjourned ~t 4:00 p.m. to meet in regular session on April 18, 1949.
Monday, April 18, 1949.
Meeting opened at 10:00 A. M., with all members present. Mr. Tracy Williams
appeared with petition ofA. C. Sparling for vacation of platted property in Hessian
Garden Tracts and Chalmers 2nd Addition to Irondale. June 8, 1949 at 10:00 A. M.,
was set for date of hearing.
A letter was received from the puget Sound Navigation Company stating plans were
to be made providing for ferry serv~ce at a future date wnen the Agate Pass Bridge is
completed.
A report for January, 1949 showing a loss of $5,488.66 for the Puget Sound Navigati
Company on the Edmonds-Port Ludlow Route, was received. A similar report for February,
1949 shows a loss of $5,332.89 for that month. An annual report shows the net profit
for the year from March, 1949 to February 1949 as $105,996.$4.
An application for liquor license was approved for the Port Townsend Chevy-Chase
Golf Blub.
A letter from the State Department of Health stated that $8,657.43 is all the
;, money allocated to Jefferson County for 1949 or $17,314.86 for the two-year period
ending March 31, 1951.
An application for land was approved as follows: A. T. Boswell, - Irondale - Lots
16 to 24 inc., Blk 4, offered $45.00.
No fUrther business appe~ring, the meeting adjourned to meet in the Assessor's
office as the Board of Equalization.
