WASHINGTON II Jill Monday, ,July;. 1949. The Hoborab1e Board of Jefferson County Commissioners met in regular session at i'\ the Courthouse at 10:00 A. M., this date. with all members present. Minutes of the las~ regular session were read and approved as read. ! Mr.cW. A. Neville appeared on tho matter of' the Chevy Ohaseroad. Mr. Roy Froeman and Mr. G. Tandoo trom Nordland, appeared relative to having the eloctricity extended 1200 feet to the Jefferson County Park at Nordland. Mr. Tandoo and; others are interested. in having the lines put in to their property. An investigation !: will be made into tho matter. :: i: A report WillS recoivod from the puget Sound Navigation Company for the Edmonds-port:i Ludlow ferry route showing a profit of $6.554.82 for the month of April, 1949. :1 " The Engineer submitted the preliminary 1950 road program in amount of' $190,000 " itemized as follows: Overhead and operations $1;.000.00 Regular maintenance 90.000.00 SpeCial maintenance 54,000.00 Construction 21.000.00 Transfer to equipment acct. 10.000.00 $190,000.00 I; Considerable unf'oreseen damage was done to the root of the Veterans' Hall during ii the severe winter of' 1949, and the budget does not have ample funds to meet the necessa~ expens0 so upon motion made by Tom Milroy and seconded by James C.
