10:00 A. M.
BidB ware opened for a pick-up truck as tollows:

A motion was made br Mr. Yarr and seeond~d by Mr. Milroy that the bid of Buhler
Motor Co. in amount of $ 04-3.50 be accepted. '
Bids were recei ved as follows for a Dump truck I

Motors for Ford Dump truck with Gallion Hoist be accepted in amount of $2605.55 plus tax~
Bids on a Grader were received as follows:
Howard-Cooper Corp. on Adams 550 $10,894.90.plus tax.
Feenaughty Machinery Co. Warco 4D 9,3~6.56 plus tax.
Western Tractor & Equipment Co. Caterpillar #12, 11,504.60 plus tax.
Pacific Hoist & Derrick Co. Gallion - 10,452.00.
Mr. Yarr made a motion to consider bids, seconded by ~~. Milroy. After much
consideration, Mr. Milroy made If motion that the bid of Pacific Hoist & Derl'1.ck Co.,
on the Gallion Grader be accepted in amount of $10,452.00. Mr. Yarr made a motion that;
the bid of Western Tractor & Equipment Co., on the Caterpillar Grader be accepted in amount ,
of $11,504.60. It was necessary for Chairman Arey to cast his vote and, due to the fact::
that a mechanical hoist is more effiCiently handled by the road cre~T. the Motion of Mr. :'
Yarr for the Caterpillar tractor was seconded by Chairman Aray. The bid ~~8 awarded ;
to the Western Tractor & Equipment Co., in amount of $11,504.60. .
