M., with all members present. Minutes of the last reguilar q meeting were 'read, and approved as read. 'i George Millar appear'ad regarding punch board tax in the County. 'fhe Board was ii advised by the prosecuting Attorney A. Clemens Grady, that the tax must be as original1r ordered or punch boards will be banned from the County. The Board accepted the opinionii of the Pros. Atty. The tax will remain at 3'& of the gross value of the boards. Ii I II it ~ i Applications for County land were received as follows: Mackie & Lewis, SE; SEi SaC.) T. 26N. R 1 W., oiieted $1,000.00. L. G. Blankenship - Eisenbeis Add. Lots 1 - 9 - Block 7, offered $45.00. These applications were approved by the Board. Applicati ons were also received from: A. R. Thompson - Gov. Lots 7 & 8, 'Sec. 28, T. 30, R. 1 We, offered $280.00. M. C. DeLeo - Lot 6, Block 56, Orig. Townsite, P. T., offered $90.00. These applications were also approved by the Board. II !i 11 :1 I, ., ;; After dUly advertising, bids were opened for a 4 door sedan for the County Engin- :i eer as follows: Ii Buhler Motor Co., Chev. 1950 -$1699.00, tax $50.97, Less trade~in $150 - 11599.97.1; Thomas Motors - .1950 Ford .$1762~50, tax $52.88, Less trade-in $225 - iP1540.3$.ii A motion was made by James Yarr and seconded by Tom Milroy that the bid of :1 Thomas Motors for 1950 Ford - 4 doo r sedan in amount 01'-, $1540.)8 be accepted. It was :! so ordered. A liquor permit was also received for Wayne L. Wolfer, d/b/a Eaglemount Service and Grocery. George Huntingford appeared and requested a bridge to be built over the ditch on the County road near his property. The Engineer stated the ditch is on the County right-of-way and will be built in the near future. Mr. Ralph Bowen, State Examiner, conferred with the Board on financial matters pertaining to the County. In accordance with advertisement for bids, the bid of The Leader Co., on county printing was received and accepted, at 70 cents per inch wid 55 cen's on subsequent printings. Recess at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 1~50. The Board met at 10:00 A. M., and eX8mined and approved bills as follows: Current Expense Assistance Soldiers' relief Count y Roads T. B. Hospital Flood Control Equip. Rental & Revolving Fund $ 7,635.70 6,250.84 25.00 20,301.23 1,384.00 1,500.00 9,384.02 The afternoon was spent with the Engineer on the Coyle road project. The caah waD counted in the Treaourer's office and the amount of $2,46$.65 was found to be correct.
