A report of the puget Sound Navigation Company for March shows a profit of Ii

A latter was received from the Puget Sound Navigation Company requesting operating il
agreements to be signed for five years for the South Point -LofaH ferry route. present!;
operating agreements do not expire until August 15th, so action \'1aa deferred on the 1'1

WHEREAS, Jefferson County'is the owner of the following described, real estate,
Tax No. 12 - Sec. 34 - 31 - R 1 W - Vacated Blocks 4, 5, 12, 13, 14, 21, 22
& 23 of Bracken's ~ddition; together with portions of streets appertEining
to same;
WHEREAS, Remington's Revised Statutes (1947) Section 2750, provides for the holding:
of ~ounty Fairs as a strictly county purpose,

NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF JEFFERSON COUNTY, that the
real estate hereinbefore described be held and set apart for County Fair purposes in
which the 4H Club participates; that said real estate be set aside for said Fair purposeS

for a period of two years and the right to use said real estate is hereby granted to the
said 4H Club and Jefferson County Fair !ssociation for said period of time, for the
purpose of holdir.g annual fairs thereupon and related purposes.
