County Flood Control
BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF JEFFERSON COUNTY, WASH.
In the matter of Clearwater
River Flood Control
Resolution to protect the roadway
by the construction of a Class "A"
Rip Rap revetment along the south bank
of the Cle~~wate~ River in Lot 2, Sec.
30 and Lot 12, Sec. 19, T. 24 N., R. 12 W.,
W.M.
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS THAT it is their
intention to transfer funds from Road District Taxes in the amount of $3,000.00 to
the Flood Control Fund for the foregoing purpose.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that for the foregoing proper County Flood Control purpose
there is hereby appropriated sums in the following detail:

The Flood Control purpose h~rein described is HEREBY DECLARED to be a public emergency
and the County Road Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED to report and proceed
thereon as by Law provided. .

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that.this purpose be performed by Day Labor in accordance with the
specifications as adopted by this Board. q

Whereas, it has been made to appear to the Board of County Commissioners of
Jefferson County, Washington, from an examination of the itemized budget estimates for "
the year 1951, and from the probable revenues and resources, and of the mandatory expen- i;
ses required by law for the functioning of tha cQunty government of Jeffersun County,'
Washington, that funds from current expense levy will be insufficient to meet such
requirements, snd,

Whereas under the provisions of Chapter 253, laws of 1945, State of Washington,
the boards of Countr Commissioners are authorized and empowered to levy taxes at a rate
