A petition for a Fire District was received from residents of 4-Corners District, and a date for hearing was set for October 6, 10:00 A. M., at which time the Auditor will report on the signatures on said petition. Mr. Oliver F. Kilham presented the petition. Mr.. J. R. Baumunk appeared regarding the Jefferson County Fair Grounds. Mr. Claude E. Stevens appeared and made application for Herbert W. Lindvall, R2, ~ Port Townsend, for'Blocks 145 and 146 of Junction City, offering $50.00. Approved. lh .,. A report was received from the puget Sound Navigation Company for the first ten days of June, 1950 on the Edmonds -Port Ludlow route showing a loss of $2,100.37. The report of June 10 to 30th showed a profit on the LofaH-South Point route of $9,310.86., Mr. Homer Hadley' appeared relative to the Portage Canal Bridge. A motion was made' by Tom Milroy, seconded by James Yarr, and unanimously carried to proceed with the plans and specifications- An agreement was entered into between the Board and Mr. Hadley +0 do the nacassarj engineering and designing services for the constru.ction of the Bridge in amount of $9,000.00, When the same is approved by the U. The Honorable Board of County CoMmiasioners met in regular session at the Court Houae at 10:00 A. M., this date, with ell members present. A notice from the Washington,State Liquor Board was rece~v0d informing the Board that the Port Townsend Chorl Chase Golf Club, Discovery Bay, Route 2, Port Townsend, has discontinued licensed operations and submitted their license to the State Liquor Board. Route Liquor Licenses were granted as follows: EF - Stanley L. Mackey, d/b/a Quilcene Trading Co., Quilcene. BCEF- Leon G. Dieu - d7b/a Curley'S Place, Route 2 Port Townsend. BCEF - Otto Ernest Witzke and Lillian M. '''itzlte d/b/a Discovery Bay Tavern, 2, Port Townsend. BOEF - George Miller and Florence 14iller, d/b/a Valley Tavern, Chimacum. EF - O. L. Pyatt ,and Ruth Pyatt, d/b/a Pyatt's store, Quilcene. ABC -EF - Antonio Pennini and Mary E. Resolution No. 0-124 transferring $13,000 from the Jefferson County Equipment Rental ~ and Revolving Fund to the Jeffsrson County Road Fund was signed as fo1l~wa: Q RESOLUTION NO. 0-124 e ~1HEREAS, the County Road Fund receipts have fallen below thej,r normal expectancy, NHEREAS, it is necossary to replenish said fund to cl)ntinue normal operations, BE I'r THEREFORE RESOLVED, that the sum of Thirteen Thousand Dollors ($13,000.00) be transferred from the Jefferson County Rquipment Rental and Revolving Fund to the Jeff~ erson County Road Fund as provided by Law.
