Monday, October 2, 1950.
The Honorable Board of. Jefferson County Commissioners mat in regular session
at the Court House at 10:00 A.M.
Mr. W. S. Porter appeared relative to the Chima cum Park. Trees should be removed
and lumber could be used for buildings at the Jefferson Count)r Fairgrounds. The matter
will be approved by the Board.
Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved as read.
A report was received from the puget Sound Navigation Company for the Lofall-South
Point Ferry for July, 1950 showing a profit of $20,947.31.
A delegation of Brinnon residents, "'falter Kell~"y, Victor Britt, Mr. and Mrs. H. C.
Oersted, J. L. Zimmerman and others appeared. Mr. Zimmerman reported that garbage is
being dumped on II I"I)fl.d !leer his p'cpcrty at Blac~ Point. The road will be blocked off
by the Engineer as it is a dead-end road. Apublic garbage dumping site will be jnvestj,~
gated.
