'rhe Honorable Board of Jefferson County Commissioners met in re[,'111ar ses'Jirm at
the Court House, Port 'l'oHnsend, this data, 10:00 A. H.
~Tiss Edna Avery, Mrs. \'lilliam Bishop, Jr., and Geo. ':/elchj rnprel-.ienting the Cen-
tanni.al Committee, requesting the 1\se of the 14emoriel Field for t.he Centenni"l Celebra-
tion. Permission was [;ranted for a platform to be placed on the Field for tho Pageant.
A req118st was made to use saw<\llst on a portion of the Field for a horse show. The
matter was t.aken under advisement, until Friday, February 9th, when definite locRtion
will be shO\m as to 1....hat llort:! C'n of the Field "r.l.ll be needed.
Mr. Harry Baker spoke in the interests of basehall and athleti. CS, on the needs of
the Y01lng peaple for the Field to be free for sports.
