Engibeer Jones was directed to investigate a new site for the disposal of garbage in that
area.
Recess at 4:00 P.M. An Order of Sale was signed for County land for May 12, 1951.
Monday April 16, 1951.
The Board met in session at 10:00 A.M., with all members present.
Mr. Wm. Wilson and Mr. Geo. Baker appeared, requestine the granting of a license
for oper~tion of Shuffle Boards in the County. The Board took the matter under advise-
ment until May 7, 1951.
The matter of Vacation of entire plat of Clark's Addition to Port Townsend, in Sec.
27, T. 30 N. T 1 W. W.M., and all streets and alleys therein was heard at this time.
Mr. Tracy Williams appeared representing Harry A. Cotton and Myrtle A. Cotton. Upon
motion made by James C. Yarr and seconded by Bertil Kruse, the Petition was granted and
the Order of Vacation was signed as follows:

This matter carne on to be heard this day upon the application of Harry A. Cotton
and Myrtle A. Cotton, his wife, for an order VACATING:
All of the entire plat designated as CLARK'S ADDITION to
Port Townsend, which plat is filed with the Auditor of
Jefferson County, Washington.
That said plat is in Section 27, Township 30 N. Range
1 W.W.M. Jefferson County, Washington.
Together with vacation of all streets and alleys forming
a part of said plat.
and it appearing to the Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County, that notice
of the hearing on said application was gl. ven by posting for the time and in the manner
provided by law, no person or persons appearing to object, and said petitioners being the
sole owners of the entire plat sought to be vacated, therefore, it is by the BOARD OF'
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS FOR JEFFERSON COUNTY, WASHINGTON, in regular session assembled,
ORDERED:
That all of the entire plat' designated as CLARK'S ADDITION to Port Townsend,
Washington, Jefferson County;
Together with all the streets and alleys forming a part of said plat
ba and the same is hereby VACATED.

A request for County property was 'made by mrey C. Hamer for Lots 1-4, 6-12; 37-40;
42-46, Block 25, in mrdndale, - offered $100.00 Application approved by Board.
Thls being the time advertised for opening bids for a car for the County School
Superintendent, the following was the only bid reo~ived:
Buhler Motor Co., 1951 Chevrolet Business Coupe, including heater, and
State Sales Tax, less Federal Tax, with turn in of 1937 Ford Sedan.$1449.00.
Upon motion made by James Yarr, sec~nded by Bertil Kruse, the above bid was acceptod.
Bertil Kruse moved and seconded by James C. Yarr, that the hours for the Court
House remain as they are from 9-5 each day and Saturdays 9 - 12. Motion unanimously
carried.
The cash was counted in the Treasurer's off! ce and the amount of $1,767 .gg was found
to be correct. The Treasurer's report was signed.
A notice was received that a meetIng will be held at Clearwater School by the
Clearwater Community Club, April 25 at 7:30 p.m. The Board was invited to attend.

An agreement with State Hiway Dept. was signed' for fInancing $140,146.20 from Bridgo fund
funds for Project No. AD-2 - Portage Canal Bridge, and Resolution No. C-164 wes signed
as follows: This replaces Resolution No. C-153 signed March 19, 1951:

entered into by and betweon tho Couhty of Jefferson and tho State of Washington! acting

said County with tho Bureau of Publio Roado under the provisions of the Federal Aid
