Upon request of Dale H. McCoy and Ethel Virginia McCoy for an easement to lay a
water line through an existini;j culvert 30' S. of the intersection of Leadville Ave.
in Quilcene, and County Road 1/23, in 5ec.24, T. 27 N., R 2 W. \'1. M., the Board siened
the Easement as follows:

KNm'l ALL MEN BY TI{ESE PRESENTS:
That, in consideration of the promises, the Count.: of Jefferson, a municipal sub-
divis ion of the State of \'lash ington, acti ng by and through its Board of County Conunis-
sioners, and pursuant to a motion heretofore adoptecl by ::laid Board, does hereby give
and grant to Dale H. McCoy and Ethel Virginia McCoy, husbnnd and wife, an easement with
right to lay a water line through an existing culvert located approximately thirty (3D)
feet south of the intersection of Leadville Avenue in the Quilcene Townsite and County
Road No. 23, situated in Section 24, Township 27 North, Range 2 West, Willamette ~eridian.
PROVIUED, Hm-lEVER that the grantees, agree to furni sh and install the pipe and
keep it in repair at ail times, and further agree that at any time it shall be necessary
to remove pipe for road maintenance or construction the grantees will remove and replace
said pipe at their own expense, as per county construction procedures.
IN WITNESS 'NHEREOF, the County of Jefferson has caused the se present s to be executed
by the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners and Attested by the Clerk under the
seal of said Board this 18th day of June, 1951, A. D.

Max Plattner appeared objecting to a bowling game machine at South Point. The
Board considered the matter of licensing amusement machines.
Mr. Paul Kehrer appeared in regard to damage to his water supply by drainage from
the fill on the County road. The Board offered $750.00 for damages. This was not accepted
by Mr. Kehrer at this time.
. Mr. S. V. Peach, Jefferson County Treasurer, appeared requesting authority for the
division of the second payment of Federal Forest Reserve Funds. The division is as
follows: County Road 50%, County Schools 50% apportioned as follows:

The Washington State Liquor Control Board notified the Board that H. Richard Busey,
d/b/a Coffee Shop, Port Ludlow, has discontinued licensed operations at Port Ludlow,
and submitted his license to the Liquor Board.
The Dept. of Highways informed the Board that Jefferson County's entimated share of
Gas Tax Funds will be $127,600 for 1952.
Resolution No. C-156 was signed for improvement for East QUilcene Road in amount of
$5,000 as follows:

IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS THAT it is'their intention
to improve said road by grad.tng draining, surfaCing, widening and straiehtenLng,
